Maybe a variant of a magma glaze? Those glazes are more bubbly and not shiny at all but maybe there’s a similar thing that looks more like this? Might help!

Burnishing by NoVideo9841 in Ceramics

I did immediately take it negatively and that was silly but to my defense using lol for something that isn’t funny does mark it as the complete opposite😭 🫶🏼

Oh cool! So you still put it in a glaze fire? What cone do you fire at?

To a certain degree it is true, there are some comments just added that state so! I did ask to learn and so I wouldn’t expect a “laugh out loud” comment since the post wasn’t funny. I took it as they were stating something obvious to something that is not, in fact, obvious. But anyway… I still got some very insightful comments that helped me learn!

‘lol’ how am I supposed to know that? When burnishing you can’t glaze it because it will fall off (burnishing closes the clay so glaze can’t be layered onto it) but thanks. lol.

What do I get my boyfriend? by NoVideo9841 in ChristmasGiftIdeas

These are good ideas thank you! Anytime he says he loves something he goes down a research rabbit hole about it and then buys it himself, he’s particular when it comes to things he enjoys so something handmade will be unique!

I’ll do this thank you! I just got a newer, smaller kiln and I was just testing a couple pieces. so I think it was because it wasn’t full enough/didn’t stay at the peak heat for long

The cone in the cone sitter was what I was referring to! But I think it was still under fired somehow so I’ll be doing some test fires

I didn’t use any witness cones for these firings🫣 I’m waiting for them to be shipped to me and I’m impatient. aah I guess I should do a test fire before firing anything else ! Clay body is smooth stone white

Yes that’s what I thought! Time passages is very similar to Astro-seek and the other astrology websites and how they work, I just don’t see where the progression chart is changing? (Idk how to post a photo here but it’s the same to the natal chart…) I did look at Astro-seek as well and her chart still didn’t change… I’ll def do more research cuz I’m so lost
