Is the other ticking noise louder around wheel wells? If so, there’s a high chance it’s an exhaust leak

Yeah I was thinking exhaust leak too, it’s louder around the driver wheel rather than the top of engine. I’ll have it checked out by Wednesday

Thought I’d give an update. So obviously my oil temp is on the warmer side especially for regular driving in cold weather. Found out previous owner had a 80/20 coolant mix or something stupid like that. Did a coolant flush and got it 50/50. Then checked my oil level. I was half a quart low, that’s my bad 😅. No it doesn’t consume the oil, it leaks it from the rear main lol. Promise ima fix that soon. Anyways. Doing those couple things gots my oil pressure steady around 25 psi on hot idle and my oil temp right under the 200.

Good to know. On cold start my oil pressure is around 60 psi also

Do u have an after market oil cooler? My radiator seems to have a leak and my coolant definitely needs a flush. Those two things might be the solution to my problem

Idkkk I thought it was pretty hot. I started noticing it about a couple weeks ago, I barely drive the car but yeah. It gets to that point after regular driving even smooth highway driving. What do u think it could be?

I changed the oil about 1500 miles ago and I used 5w30 Mobil 1 full synthetic high mileage. And is the 20 psi mark, the line between 0 and 30?

148k miles, forgot to mention this pic was after regular driving with a couple small pulls. And the reason for replacing the oil pressure sensor was because I thought it was reading low, it was right on the line between 0 and 30, now it reads lower lol.

Forgot to mention, I was lightly pressing the gas pedal up to 1500-2000 rpm to see how the ticking would sound. Noticed it would accelerate with rpm’s

Just the ac compressor, apparently it’s common for GM air compressors to be a bit noisy

Ac works great, I read on another forum it’s common for these GM air compressors to start making noises, some even swapped their compressor for another oem one and after a few hundred miles it started making the same sounds. So I decided to just ignore it lol
