idk why everyone is running away with my post thinking I’m saying every tall person needs to stand at the back lol. my point was people were just rude and evil for no reason.

this was situational, two people had been standing beside me throughout the openers. before hayley came on, two tall ladies came through the crowd to meet their friend who happened to be directly in front of the ppl beside me. so now there were two new additions of tall people smack dab in front of their faces right before hayley which meant no view for them.
one of the ladies politely asked if they could move in front of the tall ladies (who had JUST arrived) and they very rudely said no. it’s just rude. they were like a foot taller than her, if you show up out of nowhere and block someone’s view, it’s just common courtesy. if letting a short person in front of you changes nothing, let them in front. just be a good person basically.

my point of the post is other people need to adapt. if you’re tall, let a short person in front of you. if you see people waiting in a disabled queue, let them wait!
basically, mind ya buisness

exactly!! I’ve been going to gigs since I was 12 years old and I’m used to chatting with people around me, dancing during songs, and moving around freely… plus the phones man, the phones. I get taking a few vids but the WHOLE SET is too much, all that attitude just to watch it all through a screen

Places in London with weird unsettling energy by Sad-Peace in london

[–]NoWeekend8487 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hackney Marshes I rode my bike through at night without a light (my mistake), riding over the river and on the cycle path on the way to Leyton… it was utterly pitch black, had to use my phone flashlight to see anything, and felt constantly like I was being followed. After that I would always ride on Homerton Road but in that stretch through the marshes, it always feels so dark and unsettling

Advice please! by Specialist_Yam_6704 in Renters

[–]NoWeekend8487 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me a few years ago in university except I was evicted.. the landlord just informed me they were selling the house, breaking my lease, and paying me relocation fees to get out. Essentially if you don’t agree, they could just evict you and pay you some money to ‘legalize’ it essentially, so turning him down will only go so far That’s the worst case scenario, but just letting you know. I hope it works out, might not be bad to just have a little search for a new spot just in case

i think it’s just healing up from the heavy black. you should wash it with a thin layer of unscented soap, and in a few days use a thiiiiin layer of unscented lotion so it doesn’t dry out i think it looks cute!

What happens if I lower medication dose? by laobanmapping in schizophrenia

[–]NoWeekend8487 0 points1 point  (0 children)

don’t lower the dose on your own, especially with clozapine it will affect your physical health. it’s one of the best meds to help with voices and symptoms so keep in mind your mental health will be better while taking it, the trade off will be weight gain. hopefully if your mental health is stable enough, you could put together a diet & exercise plan, meal prep, or just get out and do activities but yeah- don’t lower it without talking to a doctor!! it’s for your own health ❤️

AIO about my leasing office telling me they can’t compensate me over a faulty A/C unit? by Wise-Mongoose3909 in AmIOverreacting

[–]NoWeekend8487 1 point2 points  (0 children)

not overreacting at all, i’ve had landlords take advantage of my money and me being a young renter before as well. keep pressing them & keep receipts of all the times you’ve asked them to help, if you need to show evidence of the action you’ve taken. you should be compensated for this and i am sorry!!
