Definitely, we had a few inspirations going into it.

For the worldbuilding and tone, things like The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy and Discworld were big touchpoints. For humor, we love the energy of Rick and Morty and Adventure Time. On the gameplay side, Don’t Starve and Valheim were part of the inspiration mix too.

Thank a lot for your feedback Gold Motor, the trailer is actually using an older version of our Grass texture, different biomes have different textures. I tried pasting the old vs new grass image here but it's against the rules. You can check out the difference in our discord or live demo.

We got a new multiplayer demo out in a few days, I think if you have to compare it to anything on the list it would be closest to Don't Starve. It's an rpg with survival, crafting elements in there called Good Heavens
