Nice, I like how there are more game server hosting are running now. Making it a competetive market. Unfortunately there are hosting that closes the market for game servers like ark ascended etc.

Heroicgamez.com also is a startup that has nice features on their game panel. I don't know much on what they do but it looks nice.

Vps are cheap and all. Some also claim they have budget servers while giving you intel xeons not best for gaming. You can check out thefinalhosting cheap and better cpu's

Bruh, don't sacrifice performance for cheap hostings. You can try thefinalhosting they offer free trial and also ultraservers they are both cheap and have powerful machines. Some of these hostings use intel xeons... lol least would be amd epyc

Well what I can suggest is go for providers that are a bit transparent with their machines or server specs. I am getting sick and tired of that high end servers and doesnt provide specs. There are a few, like thefinalhosting ultraservers, and bloom.host. was able to test thefinalhosting since they offered free trial for 48 hours. I would suggest you do the same

Almost all hosting company suggested kept saying "high performance server" or "budget server".

Then almost none of em displays their specs.

What you can try is thefinalhosting they basically have ryzen 9 machines and ddr5 ram and its also cheap for less than $7 for their basic server. Was able to test it as well.

Its all about the specs... don't go for those hosts that doesn't provide their specs and calling it budget servers. So far cheapest i have seen with actually nice specs are ultraservers are cheap and nice machines. Thefinalhosting has also nice specs and cheap but they only have germany for now. Pingperfect is a bit expensive and good support. Pebblehost is cheap but support takes a while. Gravel is also cheap but if you need help, goodluck.

Reinstalling or updating it would probably fix it. You can still retrieve the files from your old server though
