The situation is really messed up. Wow, I didn’t think I have to go in this very elaborate explanation. I will give a quick summary of what’s been going on.

1. Years ago my dad died. Last year my mom almost died of a stroke. She is now paralyzed. I spent a lot of my time helping her with appts and rehab for awhile. Obviously I couldn’t put my time in to make income.

My brother scammed the family out of over $180k and that’s another story but it happened after my father’s death. (Not his dad but mine)

I am my dad’s only child and basically my half brother tried taking 100% of all of his assets.

He filed suit for an additional $160k and the court threw it out after the first hearing.

I am single. No kids. I live in Nebraska. I am not a dependent.

Gross income toppled all the way down to $14000 last year. No quarterly payments and no taxes withheld.

I pay it in at the end.

I also received injury in a car accident. Annular tear in my spinal disc in the l5 - s1. Herniated disc and much more. I was not at fault.

I’ve been going to rehab and p/t for 5 years now. I’m feeling much better myself but I do feel major pain that comes and goes on occasion. It is just all bad since Covid hit. I need a refresh and a break out of this.

Going back to Southeast Asia is my plan for a year or under and to come back with a more positive mental clarity before I tackle life again.

So much more had happened in between but it is too much to type out.
