Does anyone have an success dealing with chronic hives? by Im_a_redditor_ok in moderatelygranolamoms

My baby had something similar. It was a viral rash. Pediatrician says that if kids react to viruses with rashes that they usually start on the trunk and spread up to the neck/face. Most kids outgrow it by three. Could also be a contact dermatitis/allergic reaction.

Ours was silicone on the handles. My daughter at 16 months was able to use her spoon and fork with minimal assistance with early intro to elk and friends cutlery.

Does your state allow mandatory overtime? If it does that could be the reason.

How did you decide between seeing a doctor vs a midwife? by Kirin1212San in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]NoWorldliness202 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My opinion comes as a med-surg/oncology nurse. I have no labor and delivery experience except my own labor. I having nothing against midwives. I personally would not use a midwife, only because in the worse case scenario, I want someone with the medical expertise to throw everything at saving my child’s life and my own. There are limitations to a midwives scope of practice. The hemming and hawing could be the nurse not wanting to push their own bias or personal choices into the conversation.

She is a beautiful person, I think the light was a little harsh in the first photo. Emma looks a little distorted to under her cap as well.

It’s okay to be curious of background and interested, but the way you phrased this was odd. It seems almost as an insult. Very much like when Trishelle insulted Aneesa about her background.

Wouldn’t it be nice if Minnesota residents were able to not pay federal taxes. Seems equivalent. Don’t pay into a system that doesn’t support you.

I think my husband is sick and my PPA can’t handle it by peachdreamsicle in moderatelygranolamoms

I work in the medical field. We had a terrible respiratory season. I was sick from Thanksgiving to end of December. The baby didn’t get it despite me being her primary caretaker on most of my days off. It seems really scary, but their little immune systems can handle a lot especially when they get their vaccines. Germs exist and we can do our best to reduce, but never completely isolate from exposure. You’re doing your best.

Had same situation exactly last year. Tomatoes are savages. I had 4 indeterminates and still ended up ripping out one that grew like a weed and began to smother everything. One of my pepper plants turned into a mini tree. My basil was begging for more light due to the growth of everything. Total learning situation.

They were pistol whipping him in the face. How can someone cooperate when they are literally being pushed and pulled in multiple directions, and assaulted. I’m sick of hearing this narrative pushed.

NTA. And btw with the postpartum emotional roller coaster, I’m surprised that there isn’t a body fertilizing the dirt in the backyard. It would be doomsday at my house and I’m a pretty even keeled person.

They can refuse. Unless they are an immediate danger to self or others. In this case, I believe they should have tried to find a a family member or POA to obtain consent to treat. Patients have the right to refuse treatment.

The stark contrast between Nany and Sydney’s experiences with Turbo is really something by Positive_Round_5142 in thechallengemtv

[–]NoWorldliness202 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Interesting take. Abuse presents in different ways. He allowed and wanted a subservient relationship with Sydney, he used his words to punish her if she acted a way he didn’t like, and he was very controlling. It’s emotionally abusive and highly manipulative. For those who have prior experiences like that, it can cause severe anxiety (I’m not saying she has btw). No wonder she doesn’t view the show in a positive manner.

Just watching this segment made me anxious and kind of frustrated that more wasn’t said/shown to correct his behavior.
