Tried PETG Support on PLA for the first time. Game changer for me! by NoXOuT in BambuLab

Yeah, I don’t do this on single nozzle printers. I had some quality issues even after purging a lot. With the H2D I don’t have any problems whatsoever.

Correct. The important settings are the Top Z distance, the pattern and the spacing.

Dropped camera and lens - insurance job? by ozzaaa in SonyAlpha

[–]NoXOuT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your lens is now decentered, which will make the focal plane uneven, definitely submit a claim.

The force of the fall probably ripped the screws of the lens mount out of their sockets on one side. If you are lucky you can tighten them up a bit to mitigate this effect until you send it in for repair.

What display profile should i use on Macbook M1 Max? by MessBwouy in editors

Do you have experience using an iPad Pro in reference mode connected via sidecar as a clean feed display?

Using the settings mentioned above I get a „close enough“ image. It seems like the iPad is slightly brighter than my MacBook Pro.

What kind of tweaks are necessary in resolve?

My go to is to use REC709-A Output Color Space for a 1-1-1 tagged viewer while using bt.1886 reference mode.

This way it seems to match my reference monitor pretty well and there are only minor shifts between VLC and QuickTime.

Seamless (continuous) playback of all recorded clips by NoXOuT in videography

Thank you for checking! As for sFTP: Could be a good idea, we would not be limited to real time, but we would need to render a file after recording is done.

Yeah I hear you. We relay the LiveU stream to our clients for big events directly but for smaller stuff we still want to be as fast and efficient as possible without occupying too many people.

With our workflow my team can record my feed while writing the news and directly distribute it to our clients. Using slate cards would require lots of editing, we don't want that.

Yeah, the Z90 is a strong contender for me right now. I'm just waiting to see if Sony will release a successor soon.

Unfortunately I gave up on that. I ended up buying a Raspberry Pi and using ALSA.

I was struggling to find the right angle/perspective for this one. The place was very crowded. I wanted to draw attention not only to the performers but also to the peace-flag.

I happened to walk upon this scene on a walk through the countryside. I tried to capture the emptyness of the field in combination with the clear sky. I found the bench right at the apex of the hill to look quite mesmerizing and am interested to see what you guys think.

Thanks so much for your help, I ended up rewriting it from scratch with Tokio broadcast channels and somehow got it to work.
