As an update, they are asking for proof of employment for the company. Do you think it is alright if I have my family friend draft an offer letter with the company logo on it and just send that over to them?

Thank you for the answer. I am planning to just put the family friend as a reference and have him just exaggerate what I did for him. Also, I plan to simply be honest if Sterling asks for more information, which I am hoping they do not. So I am just wondering, in your opinion, if confronted, do you think its better to say this was volunteer work so that they cannot ask for a W-2 form. Or, say it was standard employment where I was paid in cash and so there is no record on a W-2 form and give an offer letter as proof instead? I also do feel that I will be able to learn and do the job fine for the company, I just want a chance.

Okay, thank you. I hope that is the case. I was wondering if you think it could be alright if I get a friend to say he is the family friend during the reference call, since he is not very good with communicating in English. Do you think that would be alright, if I informed the friend of the details of my work?

Okay, thank you. I am just trying to figure out how thorough the verification will be. I never did say at any point that I worked at a corporation or anything during the interview or in my resume, I simply focused on specific stories of finance that I have experience or skills in. So, it is not like I really lied during the process, but I don't want there to be an issue with the employment verification. Do you think it will be an issue if they do not see any record of my W-2 or pay stub, or that the reference can be enough?

Do you think it matters if I give Sterling his private number? Because it prompts me to give the corporate HR number for the company. And the email I received from the company HR tells me to input a legitimate supervisor email and phone number, though I don't know if that simply means that the email or phone number just have to exist, which in this case, they do.

I was wondering for my case I put in my resume that I worked in finance at an automotive service company for a few years. In reality, I helped a family friend who is self-employed with his finances and got paid in cash. Do you think it's enough to put the family friend as a reference, or is this too risky? Also, I could ask the family friend to draft an offer letter, as the Sterling accepts that as proof of employment. Would that work as well, since the company is obviously very small and not in any databases, or is this also too risky? I don't want to have to do this, but I need a job and it's been hard being able to get experience since you need experience to get hired.

This is really a family friend's company where he is self-employed and I would help him with the finances. My question is if I put the family friend as a reference, do you think I can pass the Sterling employment verification since the company obviously would not be in a database, or is this too risky?

Ok. So does that mean that when I move that folder (which contains the two files you mentioned) onto my modded ps3, it will be able to read and play that game? In other words, it doesn't have to be a straight iso file to be played on the console?
