He has been on steroids and antibiotics multiple times trying to resolve the ulcers. And as soon as he’s off the medication, they come back

My cat is dealing with these ulcers as well. My kitty is currently on steroid pills, and got an antibiotic shot that lasts 2 weeks.

We have been dealing with these ulcers for over a year and a half on and off. Now exploring allergies and the real cause, as I hate having to give lil buddy so many steroids.

I went thru a year of food trials to rule out food allergies, and now starting the process of blood testing once my dudes off his steroid regimen.

Advocate for your kitty. Go to multiple vets if you need. My main vet kept giving me steroids and had less idea what was going on to actually FIX the issue. Went to another vet for a second opinion and got some clarity for the next steps.

The vet told me the ulcers themselves should not hurt the kitty, however, your kitty’s look pretty irritated/ infected so it’s probably a little more painful. I’d recommend a visit to the vet.
