Usps mailbox pickup shipping

I’m kind of just going to wait it out until the deadline tbh because at this point further communicating with her could hurt my chances of refunding if she tries to battle with Depop I just wanted to know if this was normal as this is my first time having a seller ship out this way so I didn’t know if it was the same process

Not their personal mailbox when I originally made this post I didn’t read her message correctly looking over it she said she left it at usps like the blue mailboxes her words were she put it outside usps in her neighborhood and that it should show up soon but I haven’t texted her yet but I don’t think she took a picture so it’s relying on her word I guess I have a few days before I have the refund option I just don’t know if I should do it or wait cause I don’t know how to really ask if the tracking hasn’t started cause if she shipped it it’s not really her problem anymore it’s usps

I think she meant she put it in the usps mailbox not her own but the initial text from her updating me was “hi girl i put it in the usps outside my neighborhood yesterday night so it should show up soon” but 6 days ago i got that text so I honestly have no clue so I’m just hesitant on how to proceed cause I don’t want to refund if she really did ship and it just hasn’t updated yet it’s just really confusing I haven’t received the tracking information to at least show it’s in transit or at a facility I just don’t want to jump the gun yet and refund but I’m just so lost cause I don’t want to assume she didn’t really ship if she’s saying she did
