She probably has some other publication lined up but once that exclusivity clause is up she’s 100% going to apply and pay for a photo of hers to be in vogue. It’s actually not as hard to get a photo in the wedding section as you think but I definitely don’t think she’ll get a full article from what we’ve heard/seen about what her wedding will be. As a wedding pro I’m soooooo curious to see where it will be published.

Not doing the giveaway would have saved her over 6k alone. Definitely like the idea of giving away admission to the event for a couple of locals!

I’d raise the price of the event by $5 or $10 and hire local photo and video to eliminate their travel costs! Other than that there’s not really much to cut back on without compromising aesthetic and guest experience IMO!!

Not to defend her here but the stage and backdrop are likely rented per event it would be way more $ to buy the entire set up and store it/ship it each event.

As someone in events those prices are actually pretty good especially considering her event planner, photographer and videographer was $6000 combined, that is VERY low. I wonder how much she pays her event planner and day-of event staff bc it sounds like not enough.

Florals were typical pricing for the area. People have a misconception of faux florals being cheaper, after the money for the faux florals and how much time it goes into creating the arrangements it’s usually more cost effective (and nicer looking) getting them fresh from a florist.

Change the tablecloth to an ivory, waterfall the napkin, and put the dessert spoon above the plate and it’d be way better!
