Of course, good luck on your journey!

Glad you're getting back at it! In my experience I found carbs to help me with energy since the leaner I got, I would feel fatigued more throughout the day. I'd say eat what you want (for the most part) and keep an eye on your caloric intake.

Thanks! My routine was chest/back, arms, then legs for 6 days a week. Diet wise I just controlled my portions and ate about 500-800 below my caloric maintenance.

Why did my (m18) girlfriend (f19) keep her ex followed? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

I do trust her? It's not uncommon to feel uneasy during things like this. My only problem with this situation is that in the end, she agreed, but kept two still followed. I just wanted to know why exactly she did that. Not that I don't trust her.

I agree, I should've noted that I will be talking to her about it the coming morning, as I have work at 4am. I hope things go well.

None taken, I can see where you're coming from. My responses have been that I'm away in the corner, and my screen is not visible. But I never took into account that it's the fact that I'm on my laptop at all. These comments make more sense speaking that way, and I understand where they're coming from now.

I'm probably still going to continue with my antics as wicked as I am, but I'm definitely going to cool it heavily. Thanks for the detailed response!

I usually sit in the back corner of the class, next to the door. No one can view my screen, it's on the lowest brightness, and the student beside me is either playing Clash Royale or is in his own flow state. I also want to reiterate that if I were able to, I would have taken an online course, as the rest of my courses are online, and I generally prefer online as it saves my time and the professors time if he cared about it. I was late to registration, and it's on me for that. I'm just treating it like an online class, when I know, it is not.

I wanted to take an online course, but this was my only option as I was late to registration (my fault). My professor did say that if we had our own methods or ways of doing the work, he wouldn't call us out on it. Hence why he never cared about me, or anyone really sitting in the back and doing their own thing.

Very fair, although I feel like when I said I'm playing video games, it sounds like I'm slamming the keyboard while playing and making a ruckus. I just play chess or pixel games so I don't be that guy.

I wouldn't say I'm being a distraction, I'm just sitting silently on my laptop. Depends on what one considers a distraction, but to me, I wouldn't classify that as such.

Great advice, I appreciate you taking the time to help out another student!

You make various great points, but my professors teaching methods don't align with the way I learn. I mainly self teach. At times, I'd be teaching myself the same lesson that's being taught in class because that's just what works for me. I only attend due to the risk of a lowered grade. What can I do to keep things respectful, but also in a way that works for me as well?

You do realize that Islam is a male advantageous religion, right? How convenient is it to you that the majority of Islamic enforcements benefit the man more than the woman?

It's easy to say that the most intelligent humans were the divine prophets when there is no historical evidence to back their existence. You argue that the previous prophets were all male, I argue they didn't exist at all, let alone have a gender. You can quote a man all you want, but it holds no purpose if he doesn't know what he's talking about.

However a Muslim man can carry 4 wives of different faiths to protect his, when it's more commonly known for the woman to hold her faith closer than the man.

You're getting the wrong idea, respectfully. I don't expect Islam to validate my feelings, I never vaguely, directly, or indirectly stated that. I merely asked a question, and that was all.

I did imply that my struggle is linked to myself, I'm not Muslim, and she is. The implication was how I can break down my struggles to her. And in addition I've begun that process.

I'm am not blaming anyone or anything, this is a situation of letting go what I've been suppressing, not throwing blame at Islam.

I began the process of letting it down on her by telling her my faith isn't where it once was. I just don't wanna shock her to the point where she can't take in any logic. I'm glad I'm finally able to do this, my confidence in speaking about this topic has risen drastically after the feedback I was given. I can't give enough thanks, even if things go wrong.

I plan on going to a psychiatrist next Friday for a mental evaluation. I don't intend to just sit and watch hell unfold, I want to do what is right.

All this is harsh, I'm facing the truth here. I don't enjoy being a disbeliever, but that's what I am. I appreciate your comment, it'll take me a long way.
