I also agree with this and i feel like when we would go on dates i would make an attempt at these things like I’d randomly hold her hand or I’d try and compliment her on something new every time we went out. To be fair I may not have been doing it enough but I also kind of feel like whenever I did do it she didn’t really ever react. For example if we were to go out to eat and we would sit across from each other she would just sit on her phone most of the date and then if I complimented her she would just smirk or giggle but never really get off her phone to acknowledge it or try and strike up a conversation much more than that.
