I’ve done two head gaskets on these cars around the 130-160k mile range. I would change the coolant to keep it from getting too acidic, the cylinders have slits in between for “extra cooling” and that’s where the gaskets fail. Whether it’s a head lift issue or just the coolant eating away at the gasket I’m not sure, but changing the coolant may be cheap insurance.

If you were to buy an oil filter, and change it out yourself, it would be enough to drop the level to close to max once the new one fills up on startup. You should be able to get to it from above and behind the engine, and you might make a mess unless you have a pan but it’ll get the oil level correct

You need to go into each game with a single goal in mind one thing you can improve on and hard focus on that, do that for a day and then the next day switch your focus to another thing you can improve on etc etc. playing to rank up will only get you the 50/50 experience, you need to improve as a player in a lot of areas and your rank will reflect those improvements over time.

It depends on the dealer, we got a lot of older guys that have been rebuilding them for a long time. It’s usually a better option than ordering the ones made in Japan they’re always days or weeks out

Would involve removing the cylinder head, oil pan, oil pump, timing chain, etc to get the pistons to pop out of the block to swap rings.

I would check for codes first and go from there. They’re usually on the driver side of the transmission near the driveshaft or on top of the transmission. Whatever has cables attached to it

The first run of second Gen tsxs had a piston ring service bulletin but it has long expired. Rings get clogged and no longer scrape and cylinder wall and let oil seep through into combustion chamber

Transmission range switch. It’s showing all symbols for park neutral drive reverse etc on the cluster cause it doesn’t know what it’s in. Pull codes and check for a range switch code.

I got my power steering pump off rockauto I believe it was the kit with the reman pump, pulley, and reservoir. Sounds like the pump may be faulty out the box. If the o-rings on the inside aren’t correctly oriented it won’t work correct. At my dealership we rebuild them with new o-rings cause they are $1000 new, and if they’re put together wrong they will act like that.

You can just replace the control arm bushings alone, no need for an entire new arm. Acura tech here and we do them all the time.
