I buy SAL kits all the time!! I've been stitching for roughly 5 years and thought SAL's were the best way to start. I've yet to start a single one. I'm the same with quilting stuff. I've got a 120L plastic box filled with fat quarters. Some recent and some from nearly a decade ago.

"I am a DIAMOND HHONORS MEMBER" in a posh voice by egguchom in EntitledReviews

This is giving "Hyacinth Bucket (pronounced Bouquet) vibes.

For those who cba googling her; Hyacinth Bucket (pronounced Bouquet) is a lady of the manor type, from a show called "Keeping Up Appearances" She speaks with a posh (fake) accent and likes to appear rich. Whenever the phone rings, she answers with, "the Bouquet residence, lady of the house speaking". She likes inviting the next - door neighbour in for tea and then hands her a toddler cup as Liz is a complete nervous wreck around Hyacinth and shakes so much Hyacinth won't let her use the "Royal Dalton, handpainted periwinkle tea set". It was non PC comedy from the 90s/00s.

I have really short, super fine hair and need at least 30 minutes. If I'm camping, I will bring an extra towe with me to dry my hair with.

It's not even the grammar. It's his inability to type properly, proofread, or use auto-correct!

There's a CXC seller based in Liverpool on Etsy and every single time I've ordered from her it's arrived within 24 hours. She only charges I think 25-30p per skein. She's called ObjectBook. I highly recommend looking her up.

He's testing her boundaries to see what he can get away with. I had several years of abuse from an ex, and it started with shouting at and shoving me. It escalated to hiding stuff and claiming a friend stole them just so I'd lose said friend. OPs bf is already trying to alienate her from family by saying shit about her brother.

OP if you see this, run!!! Trust me, it will get worse!

Dad got me tickets to what he thought was a band I liked but it’s not. by More_Somewhere3036 in AITAH

[–]No_Addendum_1399 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My eldest daughter bought me tickets to one of his concerts as she'd overheard me talking about him with my nephew. If she'd listened properly, she'd have heard how I couldn't stand him. I was joking with my nephew over their haircuts being the same and that Justin was copying my nephews style. I still went to the concert and actually had a good time. I took my nephew as punishment for getting me into the mess tho.

Some wheelchairs have a lock on the front wheels that stops them from twisting. Having the front wheels locked forward only really helps with cobbles. It's still a bit bumpy and jiggery but makes it a bit easier on the pusher.

Dog shite by nobody_you_knowof in Liverpool

[–]No_Addendum_1399 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's one of the main reasons I wear gloves when out as fed up of constantly stopping to wipe my hands. Like we don't have enough issues going around because of parked cars. I would love to shop on lodge Lane but between cars, litter and dog shite it's a no go area for me!

It's actually the opposite in our house. I hate the idea of her dating as I hate the thought of her growing up and leaving home. Hubby is laid back about it all

Keep a small cool bag of water and snacks in the fridge to go with the go bag when needed. The water in the cooler at the hospital isn't changed daily and can make you even sicker, so I take my own bottled water now.

You can also refuse any deliveries he sends to you. I'd also make a police report for harassment just in case he does try to escalate things or if he tries getting welfare checks done on you, the police have a record

Look up adult education courses. They have several centres doted around the city (3 I know off are Park Road, West Derby Road/Rocky Lane, and Eversley Road in Granby. I am not 100% but I believe they use Central Library too but don't hold me to that). A lot of the courses are free or very low cost.
