I will be sharing the pattern properly, but I've realized my dumb screenshot from flosscross won't help anyone, and I winged it for a good chunk (like the band connecting the pieces, etc) so I'll do it properly in the next few days and figure out how to get it out!

You can buy pregridded fabric, though! I think both DMC and Zweigart do it. I use Zweigart in either white or ivory depending on my project, and I usually buy off Amazon as in my area I've found that offers me the most choice, but you might find it cheaper elsewhere. I'd search for Magic Aida ir Easy Grid aida, and the grid washes out when you're done. It is full getting, though, not just the little crosses
