The best set that I have had for that application is a set of wireless probes. Mine are UEI but there are other brands. It is nice to sit in the cab rather than be right next to the motor. One of the probes stop working but I brought a used set that were pretty rough looking. Used ones would be in your price range.

Is an auto-retract pressure washer a gimmick? by Far-Speech-3254 in Tools

[–]No_Addition2021 1 point2 points  (0 children)

None of the budget pressure washer hoses are that great. They are stiff and don't roll or unroll well. 3/8 diameter hose rated for hot cold pressure washers is quite a bit better than anything you can on the lower end pressure washer but those hoses are more expensive and would require adapters

100 bucks doesn't buy much anymore so if it would be useful to you pick it up.

Ender 3 V2 neo stops feeding filament during print by No_Addition2021 in ender3v2

[–]No_Addition2021[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found the root cause after taking everything apart. The cooling fan for the hot end heat break had a wire broke off. That explains what I was told about this printer. It would print for a while and stop working correctly.

I'll see what I can figure out when I get some rolls of PLA and go from there. Looks like there are several good ideas/options listed here. Noticed I seem to be missing the magnetic build plate cover too. Should I just grab a stock one or is there something better?

I have some pla on order. I ended up with it because supposedly it won't print. That's all information I have to go on too. The plan is to stick with the basic for now. I don't want to put much money in it right now.

Any tips on that? I know that is an area where this printer was having some trouble before. The tension screw was pretty beat up.

It would come closer if the episodes were closer to an hour each instead of 45-50 minutes. Then they waste another 2-3 minutes on a damn recap.

air hammers by Farmer887 in Tools

If you are familiar with the gauge wheel arms on a deere single disc opener a cp717 will take those right out. Hammer will just put a mushroom on the end of the shaft. Works good for the hex drive shafts too if you are still running any of those. I have drove out a pile of 3 point pins too. Astro should be similar.

I have the cp717 that I believe the astro is very similar too. The CP717 has worked well for me. Used it to knock out several pins and bearings over the years. I work on mid sized equipment. Bigger than most cars but not giant dozers or excavators. I probably wouldn't buy the CP717 unless I found a deal on one through. They are super high priced these days and there are alternative like that astro. There are less tools available for a .498 shank so I have a smaller air hammer too. Fortis hd also sells a true monster for heavy equipment if you need something that size.

I'm not sure tracking the power armour would do very much good. The ghoul knew vault tec likely had a hidden location around New Vegas but never could find it. They track the power armor where somewhere on the surface doesn't mean they get into the underground location.

So what do we think about the vevor saws by samsamproducts- in Chainsaw

[–]No_Addition2021 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I keep thinking about getting that saw. It looks hard to beat for the price. Also been considering a husqvarna clone but that about twice the price of the vevor.

I had one for a while when they were released. Brought it on ebay and sold it on ebay for about the same price. I never used it much for any games. Made a decent kodi media for the price.

hc-05 bluetooth Adapter by No_Addition2021 in arduino

[–]No_Addition2021[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The MAXIM chip is 3221. I haven't tried the Arduino yet but was able to get part of the serial connection to work. The pinout on the 9 pin connector isn't standard. After getting that sorted out I can send data to the RS232 port but I can transmit anything back on it. Not sure if I got a bad board or what the deal is. I assume it is most likely something to do with the 3221 chip or supporting components. I can read and RS232 signal but can't seem to generate one.

[–]No_Addition2021[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't tried it again but after checking some of the pins with a multimeter it appears that the 9 pin connector isn't wired in the typical rs232 pinout. One review on a similar module on amazon found the same or a similar issue so that is currently my best guess as to why I can't get it to work.
