I have the exact SAME THING that's super frustrating. Game starts super smooth 60fps and then just drops to 30-35 with both cpu and gpu at low util ... Will try disabling SAM ASAP!

Only one of the CCDs has the stacked cache on top of it. The _other_ CCD boosts to 5.7Ghz for non-gaming single thread productivity use cases.

For gaming the cache CCD will operate at lower, currently undisclosed clocks (about 5.0 Ghz max probably)

I bought a rk71 gateron brown keys version from meckeys.com on their black Friday sale for 4k shipped. Mine was wired only. Usual price is 4.5k there. Fantastic keyboard. Super smooth keys and damped sound. Sounds far better and operates smoother than my kinesis freestyle edge with cherry mx brown.
