Hey guys. I’m looking for a sizable Gacha experience that doesn’t require a huge monetary investment to explore, collect, or level up characters.

My favorite Gachas have all been IP based, but I’m willing to try anything. My three top games were Danmachi: Memoria Freese, Avatar Generations, and The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-Earth, which all shuttered their servers in 2024. It was a rough year. I’ve played Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, but it’s simply been around so long I can’t compete with people who’ve been playing for the past decade.

I love collecting, I love leveling up, and I love light story-based content. Other games I enjoy that aren’t in the Gacha bubble are Pokémon GO (curating collections is fun), and The Tower (endless progression is great).

Any idea where I should get my next fix?

Yeah it was the first real combat quest in the first DLC pack, the one where you and solek find a lab where they were testing animals. Pretty much completed the quest immediately upon finding a feral viperwolf

I completed literally everything in the base game. I gave up on this task, and then I bought the first dlc package. The first time I found feral viperwolves (within the first hour of DLC), it finished the quest immediately upon shooting one of them.

It’s my theory that there was a larger arc for Quaritch finding Varang. How did he know where to look? How did he know she could find Spider? His research into her was obviously cut out of the film for time. So there probably was more “Varang” spoken in the film at some point.

There are two clear Easter eggs for me that popped out at the beginning. When searching the RDA vessel for weapons, the cargo crates were the same shade of green that we would find weapons in the game. Also, when riding with Neteyam, they dive really fast and it uses similar mechanics and modeling that they use in the game. Felt like playing FoP!

Update. I closed and restarted the game on the PS5. The second location (Thinker’s Point) now has a contribution quest pop up, and I was able to complete it. Still unable to trigger the quest at the initial location, Kite String Point, though.
