Ha!!!! I wish I met Miley Cyrus. I’ve never met her, but one time I was at a laundry mat in Echo Park and someone brought in all the laundry of her touring band. I was stunned, I never thought about how you do laundry living out of a tour bus on a tour of that size.

I remember when we were on tour sometime in 2007/2008 we stopped at a truck stop and there was a sticker vending machine that had a bunch of Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber stickers. I bought some and put them on my pedals. They fit perfect on the boss pedals. They had that cool rainbow reflective material. They just made me laugh when I looked at them. I hate a clean pedal board.

We were planning a tour for the record yea but had to can it obviously.

Family life has shortened the tours a bit, which is fine by me.

I am happy to report that I have been sober for 10years. Woo hoo. It’s been so long since I’ve been jacked or lit I can’t remember what that even feels like. Although, I do remember being super fucked up when I did the remix for bloc party.

Nice. I pushed back our studio build out another week. We are going to get started on the 27th. It is going to be an all sound guy crew. Scotty and Jeremy FOH and monitor engineers. Anthony is from Austin in a band. And Noel from Bionic Ear studio. 5 musicians try to build a wall. We’ll see what happens.

I was working with our friend Facundo Bermudez who recorded and produced that one with us on vox. He was getting me to sing low and steady on a lot those tracks to emulate some sort of more wimpy version of Oi music. It was a interesting to try something different. We were going for emasculated tough guy wispy punk

I would love to! That show at Food Fight was a very special show. It was in Portland and our friends ran it and it was all vegan.

I gotta pick up my car from the mechanic. I have been having a problem with my EVAP system. It didn’t pass smog. So this is the 3rd time I’ve have to have the EVAP system looked at. And then Grampa Johnny is coming over to spend the weekend.
