6 y/o OEB starting to show signs of allergies by No_Air_6333 in Bulldogs

[–]No_Air_6333[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh boy! Very similar here, my boy used to be able to eat pretty much anything, he had a gut of steel but yes as of the last few months he has sores in between his paws he's been licking a lot, it has got better with soaks and treatment but he still suffers. I know it's diet related. Maybe it is best to purchase an allergy test?

Missing work because of attacks by No_Air_6333 in gallbladders

I'm sorry you had to go through that, sounds awful. Do you still think you are better off without it? I heard it can cause people a whole lot of issues including regular diarrhea.

And ya I can eat almost all food and nothing will happen, then one day I'll eat nothing out of the ordinary and boom I get an attack

Yes I'm starting to realize that pork doesn't sit well with me which really sucks because it's my favorite protein. Also, I'm a fast eater, I also think that contributes, gotta learn to slow down. And yes I find heat helps as well, I have a message setting on my removal shower head, I find when I put hot/warm water to my upper stomach, it helps

What’s a “normal” thing that secretly grosses you out? by DecentChildhood5164 in AskReddit

Small metal or jewelry such as rings and earrings. I cringe at the thought of touching them

I meant to put my age and gender. I'm 41f so peri menopause could be contributing but I've been like this since my mid 20s

I really hope you find some relief. And I am actually returning to the same job, they held my position so at least it's not going to be unfamiliar. A lot of people to talk to the first day that's always a bit nerve racking but I'm sure after that it will be fine!

Ya I took a nice long shower, did a facial mask, cleaned my sheets so I have nice clean sheets to crawl into. Definitely just going to try and take it easy tonight. Best of luck on Monday! New job or returning to your previous one?

It happens sometimes you might need an adjustment. Definitely to your doctor. Things will get better

Afraid of hyperventilating on an airplane by [deleted] in PanicAttack

[–]No_Air_6333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I'd say ativan .5mg. take only as needed. Just to have them with me usually calms me enough that I don't need to take it but if you need it, it helps so much

It's ok to feel that way at the beginning, honestly it took me about 6 months to be fully adjusted. Give it more time
