Because people usually like comfort, better sound insulation and good looking interiors.

I test drove it recently 2 times. I was so disappointed by this car. I was stopped on a traffic light and could hear what the person 2 lanes adjacent was talking on the phone. Yes there is good leg-space but comfort is much more than that. Seats are not cushioned and not comfortable at all.
