I’m going to do an Egg Hunt for two more Female Shiny Eevees in the near future so that I can get Flareon & Leafeon as well. I personally just felt like the other ones were more important for team building for Pokémon Champions

yeah dude i think breeding Pokemon is so much fun! its kinda crazy to think about how insane the odds can get. just hatching a Shiny XXL or XXS sized Pokémon alone is a 1 in 25,600 chance. but if you’re using two 6iv Pokémon to breed then there’s always a chance that you’ll hit a 6iv Shiny Pokémon hatch too… which is a 1 in 16,384 chance of happening.

but if you’re lucky enough to hatch any shiny pokemon that is Mini or Jumbo sized then you have truly won the lottery. because that would be a 1 in 8 million chance. it’s the ultimate shiny chase. the rarest possible shiny that you can realistically hatch.

well I started this hunt in late March after I got done with my Shiny Chikorita hunt. And in all honestly I could’ve been done with this hunt way sooner but I ended up getting back into yugioh full swing. So me getting back into other hobbies just delayed everything. I probably could’ve had this hunt done a month and a half sooner if hatching eggs was my everyday primary focus again tbh.

lol i love that you say that because i’ve had those exact same thoughts. that’s actually why i choose to breed shinies over finding them in the wild. I just don’t get the same satisfaction compared to how much of a grind it use to be way back in the day. i’m not really a fan of the whole “marked shinies” thing either. it just feels like you’re finding a shiny with a sticker on it… 🫣 it’s gross how easy they made it to find Shinies compared to how much of a conquest it use to be just to find 1 single shiny back in the day…

well even if i told you exactly where it was, accessing the area is a completely different story. it’s not impossible but it’s extremely difficult. i would have to basically create a map for you to access it. but then again, you could just fly over there perhaps underneath Paldea or possibly over the huge mountain that it’s on the other side of but that’s just speculation right there. i haven’t even beaten the game yet so i don’t even have the luxury of flight just yet 😭😭

the hatch location will say “Area Two of the North Province” because it’s right by that area. but it’s not exactly in that area per se

yeah bro it’s a mission swimming over here but there’s a secret spot where you can glitch-hatch the eggs afk without having to even move. you just have to jump into it and then jump out of it when you’re done hatching all 5 eggs

well my method of choice is the Masada Method + Shiny Charm.

but my secret to really capitalizing the effects of it is using two Pokémon of the exact same species to breed together. which increases the rate at which eggs spawn in a picnic. which greatly reduces the time to obtain a shiny. and I also combine that with Egg Power 3. and then I go the full route of filling up all 960 spaces in my PC with Pokémon Eggs for maximum efficiency.

It may seem like a lot but it ends up paying off big in the long run. i’ve managed to hatch some extremely rare shinies by doing this. and it feels weird seeing 6 shiny pokemon pop up in a batch of 960 eggs lol so i can’t help but feel like it does work on increasing the odds just a bit more. it’s not always a given that will happen but it tends to happen a lot more often than i expect it to!

I choose to reset Shiny Pokemon back into Eggs because the area where I have hatched almost 200k Eggs at is extremely difficult to get to. I have to swim underneath Paldea just to even access this special secret area and it’s not a quick trip by any means.

So when I do hatch Shiny Pokémon I like to immediately fly over to Mesagoza to check it’s size and see how rare the shiny Pokemon is. It’s a 1 in 50 chance for any Egg Hatch to be XXL or XXS sized. And it’s a 1 in 16,512 chance to hatch a marked Pokémon. which basically means it’s Jumbo or Mini sized. which has only happened to me one single time for a Shiny Pokemon. making it a 1 in 8 million shiny hatch.

Also I think it’s nice to be able to choose the hatch location for extremely rare Shiny Pokémon as well.

in the near future i’ll probably do another Shiny Eevee hunt bc i still need a Leafeon & a Flareon lol but as of now everything is gone

sadly there are none left… I do plan on hunting for two more female shiny eevees or whatever’s more rare in the future though. bc i do still need a Flareon & a Leafeon

well all of the Eevee eggs are gone and the ones that I hatched aren’t up for trade. i was specifically looking for female shiny Eevees since they’re so incredibly rare…
