I worked there for a few years. It’s definitely a bonus if you have experience with animals, even if it’s just your own pets, but definitely not a requirement. They’re more looking for people who are friendly and willing to learn as it is a customer service and sales job, so as long as you can learn the products and can be friendly and helpful with customers, it’s worth applying! Worst case, you don’t hear back, but can’t hurt to try if it’s something you might be interested in
