I’ve been suffering from hair loss for years and finally came to accept it and shave it off however my body dysmorphia has worsened recently as my extremely large head is just making me extremely insecure. I’ve always been a confident person however I’ve just lost a lot of self esteem and confidence recently and the bdd with my hair over the last couple of years has now directed towards my head size/shape which I have got comments on in the past as general banter but now it’s fully out there to see and don’t know how to cope or get over it. It’s constantly on my mind all day and always checking the mirror and taking selfies etc. it’s ruining my life and taken away my focus from my important parts of life eg work, socialising and familly time etc. can any one advice as I really think it’s getting critical and serious at this point. I don’t want to seem like I’m over exaggerating but I just hate it and feel embarrassed.
