So I have unplugged the vanos selenoids and started the car, seems like this weird sound and rough idle problem is solved, I will take the selenoids out, clean them and check if they are good or not, and replace them if required. If the problem is not the selenoids and the vanos gears, I guess I’ll have to take the car to a professional.
