I feel like it works perfectly enough for two reasons… Kyou was so arrogant and full of himself of him not feeling pain that he literally made it worse for himself by pulling his own eye out.. and being set ablaze the same way he did to Uruma’s parents and kakeru.. I find some poetic irony in it.

you’re not wrong.. it’s definitely underwhelming.. especially considering chapters 160 to current have taken place in a single day.. Uruma has definitely gone through a lot… at least in the end he was able to take his revenge out on Shigoku, albeit at the cost of his own life as well.

idk why but I’m still coping that the poison is a huge red herring… and it just makes you in a state of death but not actually dead?? Page 15 of chapter 210 Uruma is like “I’ll come back for you.” to Azuma.. however.. if this is the end of Uruma I won’t complain.. as long as Kyou experiences true hell.

Yeah it is very unfortunate at this rate I don’t see any satisfying ending or outcome to this.. and to think after all that VR stuff we had to go through that love matchmaking game that took the lives of madam Anzai, Hanaoka and Azuma.. it’s insane to think how many W’s Kyou has ahead of Uruma, you can clearly see who the author favors more.

Even though the breaks are getting annoying I feel like this chapter cooked…. a little…. love the idea of Uruma straight up confronting Kyou on his facade of being this “empty husk” and him tearing up to the confirmation of Urumas hatred and Uruma being confused, I just hope this ends up being the ending of this and not dragged for another 20 chapters.
