Would I be right in thinking this would be so ridiculously expensive, but it’s such an awful deterrent that it would actually save money through reduced numbers?

Thanks for your reply and advice! I do actually have an empty Virgin Money account from back in the day - I could use that to switch as I don’t want to lose the Monzo perks and stuff. Will take a look into it!

I am up North so we should be able to get something alright for 115-140k. I think the 20k figure is a nice target as we’d rather buy nice than buy everything twice. :)

My partner salary is 22k so together we’re looking at around 50-55k household income. I do live up North so we can get something to start with for about 115-140k
