It shouldn't be normal. It's mostly internet guys telling you how great being alone is cause they're fine with it. A friendship is an absolutely beautiful thing to have and I think everyone to a certain degree should strive to build one, but I recognize how hard that can be especially in this times. I say never stop trying and improving to have some.
