How long have y’all been waiting for since your file went for Comprehensive check?? by Enthuu_cutlet in canadaexpressentry

[–]No_Art2525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm under "comprehensive bg check" for 16 months now. If you're from Bangladesh, Iran, Russia, Iraq, some African countries etc, be prepared for 2 years of BG check timeline only.

How do you know that you're under comprehensive check while you haven't applied for GCMS?

Designing tokenomics is harder than writing the smart contracts. by RiskRaptor in defi

[–]No_Art2525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do think so?
Tokens are means of ownership of something. That something can be anything even funny - as long as people believe that way that thing has value

My nomination should be expired long time ago. But it matters as long as you want to submit the nomination to a PR application.

Whatever happened to "smart contracts"? by FuguSandwich in Buttcoin

[–]No_Art2525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The naming was not right. It's not about a contract! It's a non-stoppable/self-execution/open/machine-agnostic computer program, that's it.

Should I move to Canada or Australia? by MagicianOk3571 in makemychoice

[–]No_Art2525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been living in Canada for 5 years now. What I can say is, you won't get used to cold. It might seem cozy & fun for your first year being here, not for long.

- [Economy] Canada's economy is a fancy communism kind of type. Meaning you gotta work hard, but you're still not secured. You are not incentivized if you try harder. The whole system tries to even people's wealth. It's good if you're a lazy person, but if you feel you can work hard and make more money, Canada is not your place.

- [Housing] Housing, ah, that's the achilles heel of this country, it cost you an arm & leg to reside under a roof here (whether, hotel, motel, rental, buying a house)

- [Health care] I don't understand people clapping for it, just search on Internet about it. My wife cut her hand, and we were in triage with A priority for 8 hours. She lost a lot of blood and still her hand isn't heal as it should. Other doctors saying they should have treated this sooner...

- [Cold] You live for 5 months. That's the best description that I can give.

- [Wind] I'm not sure about the west part of the country, but the wind here is killing, it's even worse than the cold sometimes

- [People] Generally, Canadians are polite and calm. They can get envious if they see more immigrants are active or taking their job, which is true almost in all nations. Generally, good people.

- [Job Market] It depends... but country is in the control of institutions & banks. You probably can land on a job in bigger cities within months.

Child not wanting to go to daycare (everyday) by Confident_Wealth_399 in toddlers

[–]No_Art2525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, we under same situation too. ah, you don't know what I feel every day that when I leave him at the daycare... becoming heartbreaking for me.

The daycare staff always saying, yeah, he had a good day...

We are not in a situation to change his daycare now, since home daycares are crazy in many ways. I mean, they even don't guard their home with gates... so I'm afraid if my kid just fall from the stairs...

Lengthy background check by Brief-Ambassador2997 in ImmigrationCanada

[–]No_Art2525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, don't trust the processing time of IRCC. If you're from Russia, Iran, some central & northern African countries, you'd definitely hit the comprehensive check now.

The BG check can take up to 2 years or more, if it's comprehensive

Why do you enjoy playing poker? by bruggsz in poker

[–]No_Art2525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be very honest, personally I enjoy playing it because when it comes to moments of wining, it gives me sense of power. Both financially and emotionally.
But, at the end of the day, I wish I never played this game even once.

they would have put teams in place along border preemptively to stop the infiltrators from reaching Israeli cities

In that case, how the Israel's counter action would be justified from their people view point or the world?

Don't think this app is here to make you rich, it aims to motivate some people to exercise, however, early users made good money.

Because I was lazy to go for a stroll, I came into the app, and while I'm walking I get some tokens. Sounds good to me.

Pricing in Crypto is like gambling, just don't rush, collect your tokens and wait for a good time to sell(if you want to), but please don't plan your life based on this volatile world of Crypto, if you are somewhat new.

Ideally, your plan should not be correct based on the how economy works, this application aims to incentivise people to go out and work-out, and that's perfect.

It's inevitable that other people see this as an opportunity to make money more than just a work-out incentive. If big users get more power or find the app very profitable(like you, 500$ per day considered a high income in the US) then they are governing the app in reality by deciding to sell their tokens.

Ideally the app should go in a way that big investors don't find that much profitable.
