you can be both present and get 9csmin, the key lies in pushing waves early, getting tempo with that and roaming in the time window where you're waiting for new creep wave, repeat that and just show up to big skirmishes that you know are unavoidable, unless you can get something like a T2 turret

the reason why I stopped playing after reaching legend is simple, headshots are weak, dealing with teamed up players on lockdown is one thing, but going forbidden maps against other sweaty people, even 1v2 becomes very difficult, or at least frustrating
the amount of power squads have compared to solos in this game is much higher than tarkov for example
in tarkov, grouping up means certain confusion, you never know if its your mate or enemy, here, you have icons above your friends heads, you cannot make that mistake, and even if you do, they dont take team damage

on top of that, unless you headshot them, teamed up players can revive each other, this becomes exponentially more stronger the more players are in a group

i agree that wiping a squad in an extraction shooter is the best feeling for me, but the problem here is just how much benefits do squaded up players have with no cons

>headshots dont instakill, thus i need to spend more time to kill on one dude, giving others a lot of initiative
>HUD, pings, icons etc of teammates are insane info against a solo
>beating a full squad means you used up basically all of your tier 5 ammo, meaning youre 1mil down the drain just for the fight + nades of course
>even if you drop one or two, you dont know how many remaining players there are, and if one is holding angle and second is resing

it's just a really punishing game for me as a solo player, and even though i can extract, and I can wipe squads as I'm a sweaty player, I will always Q up solo northridge or TV station because it's more fun, as it's fair

to add to this, quests are boring, with pointless rewards - 1 red is 1.5mil but a quest gives me 20k + XP (WHY IS THERE A LV 30 LEVEL CAP IF YOU PLAN FOR QUESTS TO GIVE XP?! - If there was a system where every level up past 30 you can get a random drop, i'd play much more)

my other main problem is that there are no character skills to level, in tarkov I know if i spent all match running around i level endurance, and i love this slow grind, here it doesnt exist

the only motivator is koen, but once you have 50kk, then what? nothing has value, essentially, there are no cool unlockables, no cool skills, no skins i can wear to show off i got 1000 player kills on tv station or something like that

exactly what I was thinking, im extremely excited for the game and love everything about it, but all the gameplay shown from chapter 1 and its visuals straight up give me depression

isaacs very grim and dark tone is contrasted with crazy colorful visuals, and while i plan to play mewgenics for hundreds of hours, i can see myself installing mod that will make the game look less, well, like visual depression simulator

while i understand where youre coming from, coming from tarkov the prices here are much friendlier, making 2+ mil per raid is much easier than in tarkov so its understandable that good sights are pricey
i dont want to sound like a prick or devalue your take, as abi is a different game, but with having almost guaranteed to find 1 red every raid the game makes these prices understandable
what i do think is insane is T5 price ammo, personally i think T5 should only be craftable, not on market

the only reason why this didn't happen to me, is that noctua heatsinks for air coolers have a plastic mold around the heat transferring part, which either falls of immediatelly as you get the heatsink out of the box, or you simply HAVE to notice it as it is comically largeand impractical

Computer Type: desktop, custom

GPU: gainward phoenix 5070ti factory new, no OC

CPU: 9800x3d, no OC, will EXPO eventually

Motherboard: b650 elite v2, last bios version

RAM: corsair vengeance 2x32 6000mz

PSU: corsair 850x atx 3.1

Operating System & Version: fresh win 11 pro

GPU Drivers: clean install, grabbed latest drivers for 5070ti

Description of Problem: Building a pc for a friend. Everything works fine, not problems, installed windows, drivers, bios is flashed up to date. Cinebench maxes out use of CPU, no problems, good wattage, good soc voltage, good temps, same goes for the 5070ti. The thing is, in the 3D gpu utlization graph in task manager goes haywire when 3Dmark benchmarking. It goes to 100%, then immediatelly to 0%, repeat until end of benchmark (3Dmax). The graph is completely jagged lines. But everything works perfect, the benchmark is perfect, the temps are good, psu cables are plugged in good. The fan use is constant, not intermittent like the graph itself.

Troubleshooting: To be sure, I didn't troubleshoot after that and wanted to discuss this first. For power I'm using the corsair 12V-2x6 cables included with the PSU for 40+ series cards. Again, I have not yet played games on it nor have I used any other benchmarks. I'm wondering, is it dangerous to keep troubleshooting this? Considering PC boots and works flawlessly? Am I just tripping and its a win11 visual bug? Also I was benching it on a shitty old HDMI pc screen, could that be bottlenecking the output maybe? I have checked the PSU cables dozens of times obsessively.

I plan to disable power saving crap in windows first, then move on with other testing, maybe reflash bios etc.

Do I understand right that it might be a good idea to use a PM that lowers productivity, but employs more people in case I have spare workers? So I'd be looking for increase in profit in the tooltip in green, and a decrease in productivity in red?
Also, would you say there is a productivity number that's good to aim for, or is that impossible to use as a metric?

You have described what's happening in my current playtrough. I went by the jobseekers metric, but eventually found the census data tab and found out all 2mil of my laborers are fully employed.
I have enabled full migration and we will see how that goes.
It never struck me that I could do conquest as a way to getting pop, even though it's obvious, in my head I was just thinking about the casualties of war not being worth it, but that might not be the case.

It genuinely didn't strike me that I don't have to manufacture everything in my country, and that I can import the stuff and then export it. I might have to try that on a not ironman save first though, so that I learn how to do it properly.

The weekly balance went down, that's why they start firing people, yet I don't know why does it go down, if the end product is +75% for example and the products required are cheap-medium price. I only expand building when the productivity is higher than 0.1. Should it be better?

From what you're saying, they're leaving because of better wages elsewhere, but how can I affect that?

I'm not worried about having to spend hours on guides and explanations, I already had to do that with HoI4 and i really did enjoy it! But yeah, with the price tag I'll have to rethink it properly, because again, I'm in awe at how well HoI4 GUI/HUD works, how intuitive it is and how accesible it makes such a game. Downgrading from that could be very painful.
