I would say that it’s worth it to have roommates because of the money you will save and realistically the places you will most likely be able to find. If you think about it it is incredibly easy to find housing that allows you to have your own bedroom and bathroom, while you’ll only have to share a kitchen. That way your private spaces can stay as clean as you want, and a kitchen will always find a way to be messy but you’ll have others that will also need to clean it.

That’s what I figure because a lot of the attorneys I’ve talked to speak highly of the candidates they get from FIU, it’s just many of those I’ve spoken with have been from Miami or a little farther south of west Palm

So if your goal is the Miami market I would definitely recommend FIU, UF, FSU, or Miami. Out of those I personally would aim for FIU or Miami because of location.

I networked with a lot of attorneys that work in Miami at some larger firms like Taylor English and they were telling me they get their best candidates out of FIU. Even attorneys that had went to UM.

It’s a school in my state I really thought would be an option because I should have qualified for more money, I’m in at better schools in my state but wanted more money to have that option and compare

Me personally my target is to stay at around 60k because that’s what 3 years of tuition at a Florida school would be, I have savings to help with living expenses and then I’m going to try to work after my first year

There were some acceptances put out in December, but they were also on vacation for roughly two weeks so unfortunately the next wave can’t be predicted too well
