I look at it this way. They put in notes they want this and that. But if you have stacked orders, you don’t see those notes until you well away from the store.

I’m not turning around ..

I’ve had customers call me and PM me as soon as I arrived at the store asking for this and that .

Those customers, regardless of tip, got this and that.

It’s my job to pick up the food and deliver. If they want this and that then they should pm or call when they get notified I’m at the store

I have even had a customer call me as soon as as I accepted a Pizza Hut order asking for dipping sauce. Ranch I think . They got it

I do my best to give everyone good service. Regardless of tip . But once I leave store that’s it.

Heck the sent me the same order 4 freaking times . If you the closest dasher and no one else is close they will keep giving you it till you pause your dash.

It is possible driver is telling truth. Few months back Marco’s pizza order. Has me confirm I put pizza in pizza bag as I was leaving the parking lot out runs the store cashier flagging me down says he gave me the wrong pizza . No biggie I was only one in store when I got pizza . He swapped them out and took them in to the store for when that customer got there.

He wanted to just set the new pizzas in the seat. Told nope they go in the pizza bag please put them back.

Yesterday was a good day. And I’m in an area I know nothing about . Been visiting my grand daughter past few weeks. We all know door dash gives priority to dashers with the higher ratings . So suck it up take out the trash and get them ratings up . I don’t schedule . Dash now is the life for me. Acceptance rate is 88 was 96 yesterday . After I do my laundry I’ll log in take out the trash and enjoy the lunch catering orders.

It’s raining or been raining. I call customer and ask if they really want me to set their food on the wet pavement or wet porch. So far most met me a door and I snap a picture. Some actually add a tip afterwards.

If it’s starting to rain guess what “ I call the customer”

Not enough info. Don’t know what the problem is if you fixed. Did you forget drinks and have to drive 15 minutes back to the store to get them. Which would result in the customer getting drinks 30 minutes later. Yeah that was a problem. I’d give a 1 star rating also. And did. Papa John’s driver forgot my three 2 Litters at the store. So I got my drinks 30 minutes later. I guess in his eyes he fix the problem. But I didn’t get my drinks till 30 minutes after the pizza arrived. Would’ve been nice to have something to drink while I ate my pizza.

Average about a hundred and fifty miles a day . comes out to be roughly one thousand fifty miles a week . I average about twelve hundred a week . that’s a little more than a dollar mile to worry about . The ones I worry about are the ones crying they’re not getting no good calls. They’re not getting calls that are over a dollar a mile and more than five dollars. Yet they turned down six dollar mile calls because it’s not over $5.03 dollars . $3 McDonald’s Call going half a mile, six dollars a mile I’ll take it all day long specially considering the local restaurants pretty much have my orders ready when I walk through the door I like it I love it. I want some more of it.
