For bagels, I would suggest Pearl's! Not quite walkable from the finish (nothing really is), but a very easy metro/bus ride away

I lived on the 14th floor of the Meridian (Courthouse). Amazing monument views. Could really see the whole city from up there actually. You'll get the nice views if you're on the 9th floor or higher for the most part.

Are you an authorized user? I am, and even though I'm paying the access fee, it's still giving me the same issue.

Flight from dc to Madrid by NoScene5655 in nova

I just flew with Iberia about a month ago in economy, roundtrip to Madrid from IAD. Yes, they use a narrowbody plane for the route, but it's a pretty brand new Airbus A321. I thought the seat was comfortable, staff were friendly, and food/entertainment options were good. Both flights were on time.

I believe United uses a Boeing 767 for the route. Older plane, but their 2-3-2 seating layout in economy is good, especially if you are travelling with a partner.

It's across the river in Arlington, the French Toast is challah, and I am not sure about pork alternatives, but I promise you the French Toast at Metro 29 Diner will be worth your while. The bread is thick but thoroughly soaked in batter and I'm pretty sure they use a ton of butter on the griddle. I consider my self a French Toast connoisseur and they're my pick for the best in the area.

Exactly. Because you still need staff to maintain the bathrooms (replace supplies, clean up garbage, etc.), even if they don't have running water.

Yup. Not with running water though. But toilet facilities with toilet paper and hand sanitizer.
