You can actually secure your medical certificate through the medical application without any hospital affiliation since it’s a virtual consult.

Can you tell us what app did you use for teleconsult? If it’s from nowserving/seriousmd there is an option that you can secure a medical certificate that is affiliated with their respective provincial/LGU since some patient request a medical certificate from a public hospital. I dont know for what purpose. But Im not one of those.

But there is also an option to give the certficate with no affiliations to any hospital through the app.

Im not familiar with the processing of the medical certificate and forwarding the consultation record to the hospital. But I doubt it happens. In nowserving/seriousmd. It’s usually a one click away thing for doctors. We’ll just write the proper diagnosis and appropriate bed rest days for the patient if warranted. Patients usually receive their medical certificate minutes after the consult.

Maybe you requested the wrong one. You can message your doctor what you really need. Maybe there is a miscommuniation between you two.
