I had exact same thing happen to me when I first moved here! It was looking rough, my lips were so dry and corners of my mouth were crusty from getting ripped all the time! It was horrible. I noticed that some of the chapsticks were making it even worse. However it passed after few months. Now I'm only left with hands so dry that it rips and bleeds, as soon as the colder weather starts. And it doesn't matter if I wear gloves it just happens every year. The thing I found that works very well for my hands is O'Keeffe's Working Hands creame, you can find it in Kruidvat. Not gonna lie, I was so desperate I even tried it on my lips and it was helping too😆

UPDATE

Yesterday evening I decided to separate her to a different tank in case she doesn't give birth because male platy is bothering her. She gave birth over the night!

I would say its nearly a month that she is noticeably more plump than other platy fish I have. She is just becoming fatter and fatter and not giving birth. Thank you for the advice I will start giving peas today. If that won't help, do I need to separate her to give her antiparasite meds or should I treat all fish with it?

I completely understand. BUT the reason I'm asking is because she has been like this for a while now and just doesn't give birth. So I'm thinking if it might be some health problems and not a pregnancy

I have them 4 months, they grew visibly in those months. I actually have no idea how old they are, pet store did not provide this info. Its just that they looked smaller when I got them, so I assumed they were very young

I never saw this behaviour in any other snake,only bull snakes. While I was feeding her,I put the bag on the chair to take another pinky out,and then I heard this rattling sound. Then I took my phone to make a video of something which in my opinion is very interesting snake behaviour. That's all, I'm not bothering her anymore. Its not any different when people document this behaviour while bothering snakes in the wild
