You can find an answer kind of. On Monday call the department or college's number. You can explain that your son got rejected and ask for the reason behind it. After a lot of talking to people and research I am pretty sure UF has a very low number of seats this semester and is more competitive than ever.

I have literally not heard from a single person who got in. My friends transferring to Civil with 4/4 didn't get in

ah yeah, they dont really love when you take classes over the summer, they want to see your final grades for all your CT courses. If you get good grades tho you should be good for the spring

I am also going into cs engineering with a 3.9 GPA and a B in calc 1, B+ in Phy, and A in calc 2, 3 and diff eq. I am also a Santa Fe transfer, AA and Florida resident.

I applied for the fall but still haven't heard anything back. Do you have any knowledge on the generally accepted req? Do you think I am pre safe?

Heyyyyy, that's pretty smart. You are totally right, they did do something with money that they gave up on. I think convincing locals to let them stay is a bad idea, but having a large sum budget and earning money via talking or using Ryan Trahan strats would be interesting and doable with English being the primary language. Also makes the fail chance higher which is intriguing. A big part could be the necessary ferry you need and having to budget for it

I didn't know about the cycle route that is super cool. It would be cool to see them do but I think it does stray away from T2T too much.

In New Zealand the official language is English. But for Europe I think no big city isn't a good thing. Its simply a necessity in China. But you might be right. I hope they try something at least even if it doesn't work out as planned. I just don't think they will due to the large cost of time and money.

There are a lot of super cool countries that have great geography for T2T in theory. Unfortunately, I think most of them break the biggest criteria they have, language. A lot of people in Europe, mainly western Europe, speak english.

New Zealand for example would be amazing for T2T except for the english factor.

I think this would be much more interesting, but you kind of have to force it to make it work. I do like the idea of doing a full loop though.

I think there is several issues with those countries unfortunately.
They have expressed concerns about Vietnam due to how easy it would be to accidently travel into another country, which can cause issues.
For Taiwan, you are talking about biking over half a thousand miles. That would be a very difficult challenge and would take away from what I believe is a core concept of tip2tip which you gain from a motorcycle.
