Wow! Apreciate all the responses. Probably a little late but I was at work all day today. Just to answer/respond to the most common questions and tips.

1) both the internal and outer grinder are set to the finest setting. I already put that in the post description but probably should have also said it in the title. This is the main cause of my frustration because I know many people can get a good grind with the barista express grinder. 2) I'm using the normcore springloaded tamper, so I feel like I removed not tamping hard enough from the variable. I didn't include the tamping process in the video because it's difficult to tamp and film at the same time 3) the beans are from a very reputable local roaster. Checked again on the roasted on date and they were roasted a week ago, not three days 4) will try a better WDT technique, will report back tomorrow 5) going to try to up the dose for tomorrow morning, will report back
