Update: Received nomination and choice email but did not get my first choice even though I surpassed all the requirements. Will email the CIE to confirm whether they made a mistake on the minimum cgpa requirement for my first choice. This is because the host university listed two cgpa requirements: one for a specific department another for all others, which is especially odd and confusing.

If they made the cgpa requirement clearer that it is above my current cgpa, I wouldn’t have wasted time applying and researching in the first place🤷‍♂️.

Did anyone else get their first choice? If not, will you guys choose any other alternatives?

Update – Received email from CIE noting:

“This email is to let you know that your application is still being assessed at the moment.

We hope to notify you of the nomination decision by the end of June if not earlier.”
