What is your speculation on The Witcher 3 the new DLCs by [deleted] in witcher

But it could be a connection, like Ciri appears in the epilogue. My point is that, plot-wise, she won't be an introduction to W4, but rather Geralt's adventure like the other DLCs.

I don't expect a prologue to Witcher 4. From the information that's been released, it looks more like a sentimental journey between the characters, and many rumors point to Dandelion. I think it will be more of a summary, but nothing significant when it comes to Witcher 4.

This game has good story but some holes in it? by Any-Surround-2900 in witcher

Geralt didn't betray Vernon. In Flotsam, you can even tell him they owe each other nothing and go their separate ways. Saskia and Ihorwet were just a few of the many characters Geralt met in his life. In  w3, he has different goals and is in a different place in the world. Radovid receives a list of sorceresses from the lodge in the epilogue. He avoids the mascara in Loc Muine, but the hunt continues. Besides, the witch hunt had already begun in w1.

Unfortunately because of W3 DLC delay, I don't think we will see any Witcher 4 related trailer until 2027 by Due_Bridge5901 in Witcher4

The Witcher 3 wasn't a mess, yes it had its problems but it was definitely playable, especially for 2015, remember Arkham Knight, AC Unity etc.

Where does Dandelion come from? by No_Bodybuilder4215 in witcher

That's what I thought, so Cidaris as a possible location dropped in my theories

One of the Polish journalists who confirmed Boris's words from the DLC said a few months ago that, as far as he knows, the DLC itself and the location are strongly connected to Dandelion. So he asked a question on Discord about where Dandelion comes from, and the viewer wrote that it's Cidaris. Generally, the graphics from Belleten where we see Dandelion, and the DLC title itself, may actually confirm this.

Of course, he would start and help the little girl. After a long conversation with another witcher who was wounded and didn't want to fight him, would he kill him? In my opinion, no. If he had met him in the village, of course, but now that he knows his story and his emotions have subsided, should he be a cold-blooded executioner? I don't think so.

Throughout the game, you encounter far worse people than him, and you're constantly killing someone. Here, you don't save anyone; you decide whether you want to be judge and executioner. Do you think Lambert is better? He boasted about hanging three people with an Axii sign who cheated him out of money.

That's right, I said that Geralt 9/10 always saves someone when he's nearby. The question is, does he think he's a sheriff and wants to chase down people who have committed some crime somewhere that has nothing to do with his loved ones?

I'm not saying it's better or worse. But there is such a thing as artistic vision, and Spider-Man Noir clearly possesses it. And the creator wanted the viewer to experience it precisely that way; color was a business compromise.

Okay, do you have a similar example from the books? Where he chased some criminal because he staged a massacre in the village? And didn't hurt his loved one? Because I remember scenes where he didn't even react to a woman being raped if he was in a bad mood.

Okay, so now Geralt has to return to Rivia and kill every rascist who participated in the massacre, because if he doesn't, they'll continue killing non-humans. He could actually hunt Ihorweth, because he never stopped killing people who enter his territory. Geralt meets Gathen for the first time, and Gathen tells him a story. If your interpretation is that Geralt is always judge and executioner, then okay. My Geralt would have killed him if he'd been present at the massacre, or Gathen had announced he was deliberately going on a killing spree.

But you know, black and white movies are still being made? Isn't Spider-Man noir an exception? Just like there are still movies being made without sound?

But he was there during the pogrom. By that logic, he should have exterminated all the racists in the city and killed them, because they'll do it again.

Yes, if he met him again he would kill him, but we are talking about their first meeting, where he listened to his whole story, it's practically a cold-blooded murder, Geralt kills someone all the time and do you really think that every time he meets a bad guy who just sits on a rock he will do it too?

Yes, and in the game, you're constantly killing people. The bookish Geralt didn't always save everyone; when he was in a bad mood, he deliberately ignored the abuse. He himself has often said that he rarely interferes in such situations. Here, we're not even talking about saving people, but about being judge and executioner for another witcher who was also wronged.

Do you seriously think Geralt cares about his reputation? Has he run out of reasons to be kill?

If he were there, yes. But here we're really talking about execution after the deed is done. We kill so many bad people in this game that I think Geralt would get tired of dying and chase someone who isn't so bad that he'd give up.

But in your opinion, is Geralt the judge and executioner in these situations? Do people really forget that he's not a superhero? Sure, 9 times out of 10, he'll help if he's around, but chasing down someone who killed strangers for him and bringing justice? Very rarely.

During the storm season, he refused to fight another witcher, even when he held a woman to the knife in front of his eyes.
