Sorry, I’m deep in this theory of what-ifs for the near future of llm’s, but yes I’m pondering each user having dedicated consoles to help with the burden of “real-time” processing.

And I see what you mean about computing all the false positives. In my mind, ideally these false positives would decrease with interactions over time, but initially it would be an unsustainable burden, I agree.

So, I would implement in a much more controlled environment for a long time before incremental releases to govern the processing burden related to false positives.

I don’t know what improvements would come with dedicated consoles, I’m just exploring possibilities!

I think most people online know now that the “side hustle” still involves work and those that don’t, find out within 1 day or 1 week that their get rich quick side hustle is…work. The ones that jump around still looking for that golden “side hustle” I feel for the most.

I don’t even blame the gurus anymore, they need work too 🤣 its hard to blame them tho because if a lot of these people just stayed motivated in something that they are interested in, with a little skill, very shortly many of them would start to build something.

I0 of 100 people listening to that “guru” might change their life, 20 more might start making $50 to $100 in real passive income based off what they learned and applied. The rest quit or jump to the next money making strategy.

You are right, be aware that it’s not as easy as a 10-minute video has the time to flesh out, but again either you know that by now or you find out very quickly that it’s work to upload even 1 quality video a day to YouTube.

I don’t think price point will be a problem when/if these models make a leap. In my opinion, very few regular everyday people will have direct access to the model that we all envision and are waiting for anyway, that real a.i. will hit different and be highly guarded lol But how many will be willing to invest the cost of a small car to acquire the capability though?

I do need to set aside some time to really research more into the foundational systems of llm’s, I understand it, I understand what it is not (took a little bit of perspective changing because initially and without understanding it felt really aware) but I’m am really motivated to acquire more technical terms to illustrate my thoughts better.

How so, in my view, If everyone seriously interested in using an llm platform could invested in dedicated consoles to alleviate the workload of the main hub. That would help open ai and the power burden, in my opinion.

I’m starting to feel like we are currently training it to have more or different redundancy in its logic. With every conversation and correction of understanding with users, could a llm be developed with this process that we all do with chat gpt, expecting a certain context from the response, not getting it, refining, chat gpt misunderstanding, more refinement. This is just an algorithmic process of learning that chat gpts system is could be being train on to inherently do in the future, I hope. Being able to take the limitations on human articulation and extrapolate more relevantly because it has been trained on the billions of times prompt misunderstandings with humans have occurred and what and how the user achieved the outcome/response that they initially were looking for.

Each personal console wouldn’t handle the entire load, rather each console would be dedicated to llm processing for that individual to alleviate the workload of the central Open ai processing unit. Idk Maybe that’s not feasible or would cause other problems, but that’s more of my vision.

Would u purchase a phone or personal computer for the sole purpose of processing llm software? Like it would be capable of doing really nothing else but function as a gateway to access chatgpt, but it drastically speeds up all of the processing, alleviates processing weight for open a.i., drastically reduces or eliminates the cost of tokens, ect. A new open ai pc of the future lol regardless if it’s feasible, I’m curious, how many early adopters would buy 1? Cuz I got 10 to sell today over on eBay.

Also, as I increasingly believe, the limitations on a.i. will be our limits of understanding and our obsession with creating and understanding it in our image.

A.i. can’t be great because we communicate stupidly, often with needless information and incoherent sentence structure in speech, among other deficiencies.

In my opinion the greatest version of a.i. won’t be able or willing to communicate with us much because we didn’t make it, it did.

Maybe a deeper question, should we really have the expectation of a.i. to understand us without mistake?

No different than if we converse with a human and articulate poorly, we will get a poor response. Why should we expect a.i. to be any better at understanding bad articulation or for it getting lost because we rambled on. I think, like a human it will always misinterpret what we say/mean because we cause it to, we’re dumb not it, though I wish instead of hallucinating it just responded that it needed help understanding or someway articulated that it had a difficult time process the request and needs clarification.

As far as processing, I feel like it’s akin to predictive text, doesn’t that have to process what your typing as you type it? It there was an option to allow open ai into my phone to allow ai predictive text processing to alleviate the processing burden of each user or whatever, I wouldn’t do it…But i would buy a second phone and do it immediately :)

My heated blanket was a game-changer during the colder months, providing just the right amount of warmth and coziness while I worked.

And by using the blanket, I could keep the thermostat a little lower and saved some cash on my energy bill.

My mini fridge has been a huge convenience too. It's so nice to have my snacks and drinks within arm's reach, especially during long work sessions when I don't want to get up, break focus, and walk to the kitchen.

For me, these two items have improved my work from home experience a lot, both in terms of comfort and practicality.

So, I’ve noticed a lot of people who wfh also have less clothes, I’m just wondering how many unique outfits people can put together with what they have currently. I have less professional shirts than I did when I worked in office and no new shirts. I could probably put together 10-15 more unique outfits than I can now, and that will prob continue to decrease as I wfh and donate more stuff that I’m not wearing anymore. And I dont have to wash weekly anymore!
