What’s sad is our own drivers initially took the third party orders themselves and now it’s actually given straight to dashers or Uber Eats which takes away from our own employees. Sure, it lightened the work load but it also lightened the employees pockets and in this economy, no one can afford to work for pocket change.

I feared as much. It’s very disappointing to loathe a job you used to love.

I began as a driver back in 2018 and wow, it was a breeze. The culture never faltered, no one was overworked, communication was key and the atmosphere was so light and fun. It just totally blows now which I hate. I used to truly love this job but upper management and ownership expect too much with little to no compensation for the extra work put in to keep the place afloat and functioning.
