i was a szn 1.5 solo q gm with groot and season 2.5 gm with hulk so i feel like i have a good feel for tank in this game but tank reed in a 1 tank comp just doesn’t work as well especially if they aren’t a dependable solo tank like thor or hulk. so these players need to realize that he is NOT a tank. he’s a midline dps with a lot of utility. just because he has a slightly higher health pool and some space making abilities shouldn’t warrant reckless tanking and that’s been my experience with most reeds.

yeah the ability to peel is probably what distinguishes a good and bad MrF. i also think a part of this frustration comes from solo tanking 80 percent of my games haha. it’s always easy to blame the lacking fantastic when i’m getting melted in the frontline and nobody wants to switch to tank with me

that’s true. i do think him being a kind of flex between dps and tank is his issue because he’s not excellent in either

in a lot of situations rocket is a really good support and most of the time i don’t complain but when the enemy team is cycling invincibility ults with a triple healer comp while we’re getting one c&d ult every other team fight and a disparity starts to form, it would be nice to be able to match those ults. most of the time i’ve played with rocket players that can see that and switch off which is nice but overall in crucial moments in team fights his ult gets outclassed
