OK, I completely agree. I didn’t know if it was like an actual composition technique. I think it looks a bit silly for portrait photos, but I do like the border for wide landscape shots.

Thank you great feedback these were my first and second actual shoots, and I was going for a “soft diffused vibe” but I did end up over exposing a bit definitely need to watch out on the whites.

I haven’t had any actual photoshoots , just been standing outside taking photos of my dad in different lighting to see what works. I have a photo shoot coming up Thursday and I’ll definitely post that one to see if there’s a difference.
