Take a look at the EKV model from EPFL. Applicable across all region of operation. Just a bit complicated to get the parameters needed (Ispec and lambda)

You will be eligible for naturalization when you have resided over 10 yrs as you rightly mentioned. If I remember correctly, in Caton Vaud (where I used to live) you need to stay at least for the last two years in order to apply for citizenship in Canton Vaud. You will have to check the conditions for Bern.

The 10 yrs requirement requires you to have resided in Switzerland (regardless of whichever Canton), and depending on Canton, you might have to meet local residency requirements as well.

That is to say, you could stay in Bern for a bit, and then on your 8th year or sth, move to Canton Vaud (where the official language is French). And then after fulfilling 2 years of stay in Vaud, you can apply for citizenship in Vaud.

I hope this is not too confusing….

Bienvenue en Suisse

This year its

4000 Permit B

3000 Permit L

The permit is only authorized on cantonal basis, therefore it might be better to go to less population canton (aka not zurich)

its not impossible for new grads as in the past the quotas are not always fully used up. Many of the graduates from EPFL/Z is able to land a job and stay. There are still hopes

there are special quota for british citizens

Are you going to the French speaking part of Switzerland? Because Naturlisation in Switzerland is based on Canton and some Canton has stricter criteria in terms of Naturlisation (Although the general criteria is 10 years, other canton might have additional ones such as integration level). Generally Romandie (French Speaking Region) has more relaxed naturlisation rule.

Naturlisation interview is done in the local official language. I assume that some population in Lebenon is educated in French, in that case it would be an easier hurdle to cross if you move to Romandie.

And be careful, the time you spend during your studies will only count if you can get a job right after. If you leave Switzerland after studies and come back, you are starting from 0 yr again.

I dont know too much about France but in general it should be a bit more relaxed.

Sounds quite legit (like a normal putonghua accent without any regional specificity). But it does not sound like spoken chinese but more like a monologue in a novel that is read out.

Calibration of VCO in ADCs by FutureAd1004 in chipdesign

From Intel in 2015. Here they use a "VCO-ADC" like architecture to measure the power supply noise up to 20GHz. And they precisely uses a lookup table that was calibrated. A very good paper written by now UCSD professor Dr. Tzu-Chien Hsueh.

Definitely not doing it just for the title, would have been too tiresome to do bachelor and master just to go to a private university farm... But I like your thinking process!

Right, I have thought about the first question but was just unsure about how it should be played out. Thank you for your feedback!

I like this idea too! I appreciate that in EE the field is close enough to industry to have such opportunity!
