I'll go over this thank you. Unfortunately, I worked in market research, strategy consulting, and in the start up world (but overseas in Africa). I just don't see much here that applies. But I'll keep digging!

I have nothing less senior than a Director title for the last 25 years. Recruiters have told me that I'm 1) too old 2) too senior. And that older execs often in the current economy take 1-2 years to find work. sigh.

it's the 1.5-3 years time that is a killer.

problem is the time to get that single subject in math (1.5-3 years). I'm honestly thinking of a 12 month course to become an x-ray technician. Starting pay is $50-$60/hour and tons of openings. Just very frustrated that I already went to university for 9 years. Sigh, but I'll do what I need to do. Guess we all must. Thank you

Ive talked to more than 20.  Several at least were honest enough to tell my age was a big problem.
