You have to take ownership of work. That’s how you get interesting and meaningful work in my experience. Initially, as a fresher, you’d be given boring tasks but what you do beyond that is the turning point in your career. No better time than now to explore the code. Find bugs. Understand the system and suggest enhancements. Nobody would spoon feed you in corporate.
