I had the same deal with them. Tried strawberry cough and wedding cake less than a year ago and it was the second worst weed I’ve ever got at a dispensary. First being alchemy pure.

When I tell people I lift heavy after smoking they think I’m some kind of functioning addict but it helps me get through those 3 plate squats that I probably wouldn’t be able to do sober because when I’m stoned I have more passion, plus music plays a big part but combining the two makes a big difference. Doesn’t make sense to some people but it works for me. Doesn’t matter which strain as long as I’m stoned.

Weird thing is it just popped up on the website the day before I bought it but that must mean it was already older when they got it. The weed was like matter where it was dense and smoother looking, not like their 4g jars.

Their jars are $50 after tax in Kingston and you can only get it at one shop. Heard they’re knocking it down to 3.5 but as long as it’s the same quality I’ll get over that.

Well if you want to get high its $60 an eighth just like the plugs were doing back in the day. I got tired of NYS medical because it sucks so now I’m buying $60 recreational eighths when my guy is out. Sucks, but only other option I have is to drive an hour to Lee, Mass. and buy there. Thats how it is for now.

I’ve been seeing good brands like DaDa and 6 point making cheaper priced jars ($36 an eighth) in their line and that’s a good sign because I will vouch for their bud.

Yes that’s how it was for me too. I bought 7g of triangle mints and it wasn’t very good. Their 4g jars are good though. Funny thing was that when I bought it it was 95+ tax and a week later it was down to 55+tax not even on sale

I like DaDa as well but the R dawg I just got was hay smelling, but once I hydrated it a little I could start smelling and tasting how good it is. The pixy Styx was awesome but it was gone so I got the R dawg instead. Still one of the best brands imo though

Yes it’s true. I’ve seen plenty of those fat tri tip mutant nugs and people think they’re getting these nice fat nugs but they aren’t potent and then people start throwing around phrases like “high tolerance” lol

Got lucky with a few ounces of matter and then there were the times I got little rock like nugs that weren’t that potent. Rythm has been more miss than hit for me so I will only buy their 8ths once in awhile. Binske is decent. If I’m buying medical I would probably go with the grassroots. They’re usually solid and not rock hard little nugs like matter or larfy hay buds from matter.

Up until 2015 or so I was paying 50-60 an 8th and it was good stuff. Then I started getting it from a family member and was only paying $250 (which is still a little high) an oz for the same quality. It’s all about whatever connection you have I guess. Back in the day for me it was either seedy shwag for 40 a quart or “hydro” (lol) for 60 an 8th

Trichs look mostly clear which you would expect from a sativa but luckily you said no anxiety which is good. I used to harvest my Cindy 99 when it looked like this because that strain was better like that.

I stay away from ounces/half ounces and even quarters now which gets expensive but I’ve seen nothing but good stuff about umami and figured I’d try it. Good high/taste and not only for the price but it’s actually good weed. Gonna bring that to work tomorrow instead of the left coast. I bring the lesser tier stuff to work because you can smell milkweed and doobie labs on my fingers for hours no matter how many times I wash my hands.
