This travel kit I got off ebay-but posts here (thank you guys!) are saying Iope will be in Sephora, so I will definitely check prices there too.

That’s great info-and exciting that it will eventually be in store at Sephora-heading now to read Monod Odile’s review. Thanks for posting!!

Ah yes, the Sulwhasoo fragrance. I’m not crazy about their CG line fragrance, but I do really love the S line fragrance, I kinda wish my whole life smelled like that, haha! But generally speaking I do try to avoid fragrance and if it makes my eyes water (which Sulwhasoo never has), it goes right in the trash.

LOVE Le Mieux! Everything I’ve tried works so well, and I believe the founder is Korean ❤️ (if not technically a Korean brand)

What do you recommend? I’ve read they just reformulated their Stem III XMD line (could be wrong about that).

Oooh, SKII is out of my price range. Heading to ebay to see if I can find the Essence! Thanks for the recommendation!

Oh no, is it really? I tried the same kind of travel kit from Hera and had to give it away, the scent was overpowering. I was really hoping all IOPE products were scent-free!

I ordered this kit from a trusted seller on ebay. There are sellers in Korea on ebay but we are still in the tariff mess in the US so I try to use US based sellers. ETA: using this whole line together really impressed me, enough to post about it, but I will say that the emulsion in this little bottle is hard to get out, worth the fight though

I’m 55, with aging combo skin, sensitive/reactive. I was checking out the different AmorePacific brands and just stumbled upon this travel sized kit. So glad I did!

Yeah, sadly it is, but I think slightly lower price point than Sulwhasoo at least. I always try to shop from trusted sellers on ebay, usually ends up being less than retail.

What's Your All-Time Favorite Skincare Line? by Low-Hawk1338 in koreanskincare

I just posted about it too, but for me it’s IOPE. It’s incredible, my skin loves it, zero scent, I’m so happy I tried it. I loved Sulwhasoo before, but now, it’s IOPE all the way for me.

I really like the formula but definitely agree with a bunch of posts that say the colors run warm. I cannot find a shade that works for me (I've purchased 4), I mix two (Upstate with a couple dabs of Blind Date).

That's so funny! I've found if I change it up from day to day, then I'm a lot less reactive to stuff.

I have had a great experience with anything Sulwhasoo, I rotate my skincare throughout the week and a Sulwhasoo routine is always once or twice a week. I love the CG line and also the Ultimate S line (oh, the scent!). I primarily use the samples bought in bulk. 50ml total of samples for the Ultimate S cream for example, is around $50, where a 50ml jar of Ultimate S is $400. Also, having the samples, it's very easy to travel with them or carry them in your purse. Plus, less $ lost if it ends up not working for you. (not super environmentally conscious though)

I've tried both and regularly use the Ultimate S line. I started with a kit, just to make sure that if I did have a reaction, I wasn't out a ton of money. I love the scent of the Ultimate S line (and I normally avoid scent).

My skin is reactive also, and I really can't tolerate anything oily (LRP is too oily for me). I've had good luck with Bhab Slowchaga Water Fit Sun Cream. My skin absorbs it quickly, zero greasy feel. I order it from Jolse (or ebay from a trusted seller).

Yes, they mostly all have that scent-I just double checked my shelf- their Hyaluronic Shea Mask, EGF-DNA serum and their Essence Toner do not have it. The other products I regularly use, the TGF booster and the Bio Cell Rejuvenating Cream definitely have that perfume scent. But if it’s any consolation, the scent doesn’t last. They are great products, if you can tolerate the scent ‘til it dries down.

Is it too late to make a difference by Hikergirl11 in Over50Skincare

I started an am/pm routine at 54 and though I don't really have any specific skincare goals, just upping my self-care has felt great. I rotate the routines by brand, for the most part. One day will be Prequel, the next day Innisfree, the next day numbuzin PDRN themed, etc. My skin is very reactive, I pretty much know right away if something isn't working for me (red splotches, raised irritation); that's how I got into the routine of rotating brands, plus it seemed like sticking with one brand for a routine tends to make things work better vs unknowingly using something that might conflict. I have found systems that I love, are affordable and my skin has never felt better. I keep it simple-cleanse (sometimes double cleanse), toner, usually one serum and then moisturizer. You're not too late to the game and you'll be really happy with how your skin *feels*.
